Structure
MESTRA starts with a rail fixed to your wall. Shelves, cupboards, cabinets and drawers all attach to it, so you can move things around or add to your setup later.
The configurator covers our standard wall-mounted system. If you need something different, such as a corner, another material, or a layout the configurator cannot show, send us a quote request and we will talk it through with you.

Combinations
There are four standard bay widths: 500, 600, 700, and 800mm. You can choose any size in between in the configurator.
For dimensions outside 500 to 800mm, request a quote. We will help find the right approach rather than forcing the room into a standard answer.

Components
You can add shelves, cupboards, and drawers as standard, then arrange them in the configuration that works for your space.
If you need something the configurator does not support, such as a corner unit, a different layout, or another material, start with a quote request.

Open shelves attach to the rail positions and can be moved as the room changes.

Closed storage sits within the same rail system, giving the design a calmer, more refined look while keeping everyday items neatly out of sight.

Drawer modules are ideal for smaller items you want to keep tidy, hidden away and easy to access.
Shelving
Our simple shelves attach using metal pins made from steel, they hang from the rails and provide a place to put your decorations, books, lights and more.
Cabinet
Cabinets attach to the rails using the same steel pin system as the shelves, keeping the whole system simple, strong and easy to adapt.
Cabinets are available in a range of options, including drawers, doors or open storage. You can also choose between handleless push-to-open fronts, or a standard front if you would prefer to specify your own hardware.
If you select the standard option, we will get in touch after you place your order to talk through the available hardware choices with you.
MESTRA is currently wall-mounted. We are developing other ways to fit the system, including floor-to-ceiling and floor-supported options.
If you need something sooner, send us a quote request. We can look at your room and work through a possible solution with you.
Usually the most straightforward option. Solid brick or block walls give us a strong fixing point, but we still check the details before confirming your order.
Often possible, but it depends on what is behind the plasterboard and how much weight the system needs to hold.
Often workable with the right fixings. If you are not sure, send us a few wall details or photos and we will help you work out the best approach.

Materials
We use birch plywood because it is strong, stable, and honest, with a clean finish that suits both modern and traditional interiors.
It gives the shelving substance: sturdy enough for everyday use, refined enough to sit comfortably in your home for years without chasing the latest trend.

We are working with a supplier on a shelving system grown in Scotland and made in our Norfolk workshops. Every stage, from timber to finished shelving, would happen here in the UK.
Questions
The configurator is the fastest route for standard wall-mounted layouts. Anything uncertain should become a conversation before it becomes an order.
Send us a photo, the wall construction if you know it, and the rough configuration you have in mind. We will help decide whether the configurator path is suitable or whether a quote request is better.
The configurator is designed around bays from 500mm to 800mm wide, including in-between sizes. Outside that range, request a quote so we can plan the structure properly.
Yes. The rail structure is designed so shelves and storage modules can be rearranged. If you want to extend the system later, we can help plan the next bay.
Possibly. The configurator covers the standard wall-mounted system. Corner layouts, unusual room conditions, and alternative materials should start as quote requests.
